Foreign Language Learning Gamification Using Quizizz: A Systematic Review Based on Students’ Perception

Abstract. Gamification, or the use of game attributes outside a context to affect learning-related behaviors attitudes, is seen as an innovative way support diverse needs students with learning behavioral challenges. One digital educational that gaining popularity Quizizz, game-based online test enables entertaining multiplayer teaching activities and allows learners practice their devices. This study aimed examine students' perceptions Quizizz formative tool in German classrooms at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The participants this were first-year studying who given using for one semester. A descriptive qualitative research design was used study, which data collected from questionnaires gain insight into how affected aspects enjoyment, motivation, engagement, satisfaction. results showed all asked questionnaire received strong positive response, indicating have very good perception classroom. response language suggests it could be more widely assessment learning. findings suggest gamification can effective engage motivate them learn. As result, educators may want consider other gamified tools techniques classroom create enjoyable engaging experience.Keywords: Classroom, Students' Perception
